I need someone who is technically able to operate in a production capacity and who also has experience delivering against sales forecasts for large scale websites.
I need you to be energetic and passionate about what you do. Bursting with innovation and an a readiness to hit the ground running quickly getting up to speed so you are to engage with Marketing and Commercial to determine an appropriate road map of site initiatives and determine the appropriate forecast that will deliver against.
A strong technical background would be ideal for this role because you will be quite hands on with web production and site optimisation.
Your level of commercial experience is important too and I would expect that you have some great examples of when you exercised good business acumen and made smart decisions that lead to your sales targets being fulfilled.
There is an extensive and regularly updated range of products that need to be represented correctly on the site. You will be updating and publishing content in:

The content management system (CMS)

Other online database applications e.g. Phone Shop and Solution Finder

Extensive knowledge of Vignette, Documentum and HTML
You will need to manage / brief Product Managers, Acquisition Managers, Legal and 3rd party agencies for:

new product and service launches

changes to product pricing or offering
-
development of web content (brief copywriter)
You will have extensive experience working in or along side marketing departments so that you have the experience to be responsible for:

Coordinating deliver of campaigns on consumer online channels

Updating campaign elements post-launch
-
Collaborating with segment marketing teams and provide consultation on usability to all direct to customer electronic communications

Delivering online components of integrated marketing campaigns
-
Provide recommendations for optimisation of the site
My challenge is going to be finding someone with the technical knowledge and the business knowledge... someone who can not only forecast and report on sales performance but who can specify and build changes to the website in order to achieve the sales forecast.
